Lollipop Update for Lava Iris X8 Might Come Today

Yesterday Lava published Iris X8 beta update package (confirmed by Lava Mobiles) which some of us (not me) are able to download and flash. The OTA update is later on removed and all what Updater showing is "Already up to date. No new updates available".

The main thing is that you don't need to charge your phone to 99% or flash the stock ROM to get lollipop update. All you need to do is to wait. The final and bugless update package might be available today, so don't be panic and made any foolish changes to your phone.

There is how to update your Iris X8 to Lollipop when available?

• Keep your phone battery to minimum 50% [suggested]
• Download the update.zip from Software Update
• If you have rooted your phone earlier follow the below step or just update directly from Software Update.
• After downloading enter in Recovery Mode
• Click Install zip and choose ZIP file.
• If it shows any error, ignore and click reboot.
